What is a Naming Ceremony?

A Naming Ceremony is a special way of welcoming a child or children into the family and their community.
A ceremony of this kind allows family members and friends to publicly share the celebration and declare their commitment to the child.
It is non-religious and cannot be used to change the child's legal status or name.
