Francis Willughby – His Life and Legacy, by Dr Dorothy Johnston

Dr Johnston explores the life of Francis Willughby and his significance in the history of Middleton Hall, Warwickshire and Wollaton Hall, Nottinghamshire.

The lecture will last for around 1 hour and your ticket allows you entrance into the Hall, Gardens and Grounds for the entire day, 11am until 4pm. There is an option to purchase tickets for all four lectures at a discounted price. The three other lectures are;

Wednesday 24th May at 12 noon – Francis Willughby’s European Field Trip, by Professor Mark Greengrass
Wednesday 14th June at 12 noon – The Avian Tree of Life, by Dr Gavin Thomas
Sunday 16th July at 2pm – Francis Willughby and the Study of Birds, by Professor Tim Birkhead
