Francis Willughby’s European Field Trip, by Professor Mark Greengrass
Professor Mark Greengrass, early-modern historian, reconstructs the excitements of Francis Willughby’s journey across Europe to find out what it tells us about the lure of science in the age of the early Royal Society.
The lecture will last for around 1 hour and your ticket allows you entrance into the Hall, Gardens and Grounds for the entire day, 11am until 4pm. There is an option to purchase tickets for all four lectures at a discounted price. The three other lectures are;
