Guided tours of Middleton Hall

Guided tours of Middleton Hall available on the last Sunday of the month between March and August 2020…

Tours of the Hall and gardens offer visitors an exclusive experience of our heritage. Our expert volunteer tour guides will lead you on a journey through our fascinating history which encompasses 900 years of exploration, discoveries and quirky characters. The oldest building on site dates back to 1285 and is believed to be the oldest domestic building in North Warwickshire. You will also explore our Tudor Jettied Building and Great Hall, the bedroom of the naturalist, John Ray, the old kitchen and our grand Georgian west wing. The Walled Garden and orchard can be found hidden away behind the old cottages and have their own impressive stories to tell too.

These tours are open to the general public, but are also ideal for small organised groups who don’t have high enough numbers to pre-book a private guided tour.
