Facilities and Access
Social distancing – there are measures, such as one ways systems and queues, that have been put in place to help everyone socially distance when they visit. There is signage across the site to help everyone know what these measures are and how best to follow them. We do have hand-washing facilities available within the Hall & Gardens along with sanitiser stations and the shops in our Courtyard each have their own measures in place.
Blue badge parking – available and sign posted in all car parks.
Toilets – There are toilet facilities available for those with pre-booked tickets visiting the Hall & Gardens and also for those just visiting The Courtyard.
Accessible toilets – located on the ground floor of the Main Hall.
Baby changing facilities – located on ground floor of Main Hall.
Wheelchair loan – one wheel-chair available, please ring 01827 283095 to book in advance of your visit.
Seating and rest points – can be found dotted around the Hall and Gardens, all of the chairs on display in the Hall are suitable for visitors to use.
Dogs – assistance dogs only are welcome in the Hall, all dogs on leads are welcomed in the gardens and grounds, please be aware of nesting birds and otters around the grounds. Water bowls and toileting facilities on site.
Food & Drink – special dietary requirements accommodated and high chairs available at both the Tea-room in the Hall and the Bake180 Coffee Shop in the Courtyard.

Health & Safety
Beware of traffic – On event days our car parks become busy with traffic. Drivers, please observe the 5mph speed limit and pedestrians, please take care when crossing car parks and follow marked pathways wherever possible.
Deep water – The moat around the Hall and the lake are well signed, with lifebelts. Fountain and pond located in the gardens.
Slip hazard – Grass and stone walkways, along with wooded boardwalks, may be slippery when wet.
