Opening times

Visiting the Hall & Gardens

We are open every Wednesday – Sunday 11am – 4pm until Sunday 27th September.

In October, we will be open every Saturday and Sunday with the exception of Saturday 17th October. Each weekend, there will be a different Autumn-themed activity trail for children and on 30th & 31st October, there will be exciting Halloween activities in both the daytime and evening.

Entrance to the Hall & Gardens is by pre-booked online ticket entry only and the number of visitors will be capped daily. No tickets will be available to purchase at the visitor entrance point. Tickets can be purchased up to three weeks in advance.

Visitors will also have to select an arrival time slot when booking which will help ease the number of people arriving at any one time.

The Hall buildings reopened on Wednesday 22nd July and we have measures in place for your safety. We also have new historical interpretation outside, so if you don’t feel comfortable going indoors just yet there is still plenty for you to see and enjoy.

The Gardens and Grounds are open as normal with one-way systems and passing places along some pathways. The nature trail is partially closed for maintenance and you cannot go the whole way around the lake.

Our single accessible toilet is open to all visitors with tickets for the Hall & Gardens.

Our Admission Prices can be found at the bottom of this page.

Visitors are welcome to bring along their own picnic or you can order food from Bake 180 in advance and have it delivered to our visitor entrance point. We have lots of socially distanced picnic benches dotted around our Gardens.

Dogs on a lead are welcome in the Gardens and Grounds.
