Candlelit Tour - For King, or Parliament?

Following on from February's sell-out event, 'For King, or Parliament?' returns this October! 

February 1642, and King Charles I has fled London, and all four corners of the kingdom now prepare to descend in to open civil war.

Transport yourself back to 1642 as you journey through the atmospheric surroundings of Middleton Hall by candlelight, encountering personalities from the halls troubled past...

Accompanied by one of our expert volunteer tour guides, you will be taken on a journey around the hall and venture from room to room, learning about the history of the hall and hearing from costumed re-enactors.

Immerse yourself in the history of the hall as you decide whether you would be - 'For King, or Parliament?'.

Your ticket includes:-

• 'Lambswool' (Mulled Cider) or Chilli & Orange Hot Chocolate on arrival
• Guided Tour (approx. 1hr)
• Bowl of pottage and a bread roll after your tour concludes

Important Information:-

• Tickets are non-refundable
• The library bar will be open serving both alcoholic & non-alcholic drinks
• The hall will be lit only by candlelight 
• Please ensure to wear appropriate footwear - and clothing - as floors are uneven and the hall is cold at this time of the year.
• The tour is across both the ground and first floor and involves the use of stairs
