The Hall

From tales of explorers to royal visits, discover the hall and investigate its unique and astounding past.

Immerse yourself in the stories of previous tenants, investigate the oldest domesticated building in Warwickshire, and discover how a team of volunteers rescued the hall for future generations to enjoy.

The Gardens

Visit our walled garden and marvel at its beauty and tranquil surroundings.

Stimulate the senses and explore the herb garden, and be sure to pay a visit to our on-site smithy.

​

Our orchard is home to a variety a mix of old and young heritage fruit trees, planted in neat rows over the last 40 years. 

​

Surrounded by magnificent specimen trees the grassed area is perfect space for a picnic.

The People

Learn all about the de Marmion family, who were King's Champion & Standard Bears of England; Sir Hugh Willoughby, who was a soldier and arctic explorer, all the way through to John Ray & Francis Willughby - the founding fathers of Botany.

Discover the story of tenants such as John Peel & the de Hamel family who live here in the 19th and 20th Century respectively.
