Fused Glass Art Class

Join us for one of our fused glass making classes where you will get to design and make your own decorative plaque, wave, a small dish or set of two coasters.

Full instruction will be given by our friendly and knowledgeable glass artist and blacksmith, Di.

If you want to make a day of it and meet up with friends for an activity day together as you will also have the option to visit the Hall & Gardens.

The course will last 2 hours and the Hall & Gardens will be open between 11am and 4pm.

10th or 11th June –  Wave/plaque/ suncatcher/ 2 coasters

~ Each class will have a maximum capacity of 10 people.

~ This class is suitable for anyone over the age of 12 years.

~ Your creation will need to be put in the kiln so it will be available to collect the following week, arrangements for when will be made during the course.

~ The morning glass class will begin at 10am and the afternoon class will begin at 2pm

~ You will be met by one of our team at our main visitor entrance in our Tudor Building and shown through to the class in our Georgian West Wing.

~ The Hall does get a little chilly at this time of year and will not be as warm as the centrally heated houses that we are used to.

~ All classes need to be pre-booked online, there is no option to join on the day of your visit.

~ Measurements of final pieces are; the wave are 9 cm x 34 cm; plaque 20cm x 15 cm; two coasters, 10 cm x 10 cm each and dish, diameter 20 cm, please make sure that you select the item that you would like to make when you make your booking.
