In Residence - Sir Baldwin de Freville

Sir Baldwin de Freville, King's Champion and Lord of Middleton and Tamworth will once more be in residence at Middleton Hall on the 4th and 5th May.  Come and hear about his adventures during the Hundred Years' War against France.  You can learn about the armour, weapons and tactics of the era, when fortunes could be made from being a soldier.  You can also find out how Sir Baldwin managed to get besieged in Tamworth Castle by his own men.  

Standard admission rates apply, and includes access to the hall and gardens (which are both open as normal).

Tickets will be on sale early 2024.

On Saturday evening there will be a talk entitled 'Sir Baldwin de Freville; the Life and Death of Chivalry'.
