Second-hand Heritage Open Day - Heritage Built To Last - Saturday 7th September 2024 We will be reopening our second-hand bookshop, whilst showcasing ways in which our volunteers live sustainably in a world filled with consumerism. Ever wanted to learn how to crochet, sew, print or weave? There will be a skill to be learnt for everyone at our open day. Volunteers in the 1970s restored our Hall by hand, and continue to work tirelessly to keep us up and running. The story of the Halls restoration by volunteers is one close to our hearts, so a day filled with how to mend & make history seems very fitting to us! The day will introduce old ideas, to new people. Celebrating creations built to last a lifetime, not a season. Come and join us for a day out, helping you feel connected to where you are from but also what you consume. Heritage, built to last.
