About the event
Join us as the East Wing of the hall is transformed back to 1642, during the reign of King Charles I.
Witness the old kitchen brought to life, with period food being recreated and then served to the household in the upper jettied building. Interact with members of the household and visit the preacher Ezekiel Whitlocke in the John Ray building; as well exploring some of the trades such as musket ball making and tailoring amongst others.
Both days at 1230hrs the militia will be training, showcasing their muskets and pikes - as well as encouraging new members to join their ranks.
