Middleton Hall Trust is an independent charity that looks after Middleton Hall & gardens. We receive no regular public or private funding so all that we need to keep the Hall & gardens open to the public we have to raise ourselves. Central to how the Trust is run are our volunteers. Over the last 40 years we have had over 450 volunteers give their time to us. Today we are lucky enough to have a dedicated team of around 70 people that keep the Hall & gardens open to the public and enable us to care for our intriguing buildings and beautiful gardens and grounds.
- a skilled and forward looking Board of Trustees made up of 10 volunteer trustees.
- a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers that keep everything going from welcoming our visitors and conducting historical research to maintaining our gardens and filling in pot holes.
- a small team of staff who are responsible for coordinating everyone’s efforts in delivering the plans that we have for the future.
