About the event
Join us as we celebrate Christmas like it's 1649! Discover what a Puritan Christmas was like, what foods they ate, and find out whether Cromwell really did ban Christmas?
Explore the East wing as living historians bring it to life, with displays on vintage games; weapons; armour and cooking demonstrations amongst others.
Be sure not to miss:-
1pm - The household taking luncheon in the Upper Jettied building
2pm - Chris Keys performing with Millfield Primary School Choir in the Great Hall (Saturday only)
3:15pm - Afternoon banquet served in the Upper Jettied Building for the household.
